Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim in parliament

DSAI had spoken about 3 scandal (is it the truth?):

1) Buying shares when the price is high and selling shares when the price is low
2) Buying helicopter based on letter from an UMNO branch leader (PJS branch, Capt Zahar??? My place....)
3) Broadband tender signed without procedure by Minister of Finance

*this is only a few info from Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, we don't really know the truth yet, because DSAI himself doesn't want to distribute the letter yet, he told us that he also doesn't know whether the letter is genuine. For more info, read tomorrow's news paper

Sometimes, listening is worth it.....

Around 5 am this morning, I woke up for my 'sahur'. Sahur is an action of eating/drinking in the early morning before Subuh. While having my sahur, I change the TV channel to TV9, 3 persons are reciting the Holy Quran, listening to them is like having the wind blowing through my brain, leisurely. But that is not what this topic is all about. Around 5 minutes before Subuh, They stop the program (maybe the reciters also wants to take their sahur). I'm waiting for Subuh too because I want to pray right away. TV9 then show a video clip of a once famous song in my life - Al-Mu'allim by Sami Yusuf.

Before, I have listened to the song and I've watched the clip, but it just felt like a normal song but this time, it really gives me the goosebumps. I never notice the cinematography for the video clip is superb! Before, I only notice that he's a singing photographer, but today, I know that it isn't merely about a normal photographer, the photographer is a Samaritan and a good son. Then he found something beautiful to include to his photo collection (maybe as a result of his kindness).

The lyric is about a teacher (which is our Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu'alaihi Wasallam). It really amazed me (why haven't I noticed this before?). I only used to like the melody of the song....

Here's the lyric for all of us which I got from Subzero Blue (Thanks...you can read lots of nice comments there...):

Al-Mu'allim
We once had a Teacher
The Teacher of teachers,
He changed the world for the better
And made us better creatures,
Oh Allah we’ve shamed ourselves
We’ve strayed from Al-Mu'allim,
Surely we’ve wronged ourselves
What will we say in front of him?
Oh Mu'allim...

Chorus
He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,
Muhammad, mercy upon Mankind,
Teacher of all Mankind.
Abal Qasim [one of the names of the Prophet]
Ya Habibi ya Muhammad
(My beloved O Muhammad)
Ya Shafi'i ya Muhammad
(My intercessor O Muhammad)
Khayru khalqillahi Muhammad
(The best of Allah’s creation is Muhammad)
Ya Mustafa ya Imamal Mursalina
(O Chosen One, O Imam of the Messengers)
Ya Mustafa ya Shafi'al 'Alamina
(O Chosen One, O intercessor of the worlds)
Ya Mustafa ya Imamal Mursalina
(O Chosen One, O Imam of the Messengers)
Ya Mustafa ya Shafi'al 'Alamina
(O Chosen One, O intercessor of the worlds)
He prayed while others slept
While others ate he’d fast,
While they would laugh he wept
Until he breathed his last,
His only wish was for us to be
Among the ones who prosper,
Ya Mu'allim peace be upon you,
Truly you are our Teacher,
Oh Mu'allim..

Chorus
He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,
Muhammad, mercy upon Mankind,
Teacher of all Mankind.
Ya Habibi ya Muhammad
(My beloved O Muhammad)
Ya Shafi'i ya Muhammad
(My intercessor O Muhammad)
Ya Rasuli ya Muhammad
(O My Messenger O Muhammad)
Ya Bashiri ya Muhammad
(O bearer of good news O Muhammad)
Ya Nadhiri ya Muhammad
(O warner O Muhammad)
'Ishqu Qalbi ya Muhammad
(The love of my heart O Muhammad)
Nuru 'Ayni ya Muhammad
(Light of my eye O Muhammad)
He taught us to be just and kind
And to feed the poor and hungry,
Help the wayfarer and the orphan child
And to not be cruel and miserly,
His speech was soft and gentle,
Like a mother stroking her child,
His mercy and compassion,
Were most radiant when he smiled

Chorus
He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,
Muhammad, mercy upon Mankind,
He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,
Muhammad, mercy upon Mankind,
Teacher of all Mankind.
Abal Qasim [one of the names of the Prophet]
Ya Habibi ya Muhammad
(My beloved O Muhammad)
Ya Shafi'i ya Muhammad
(My intercessor O Muhammad)
Khayru khalqillahi Muhammad
(The best of Allah’s creation is Muhammad)
Ya Mustafa Ya Imamal Mursalina
(O Chosen One O Imam of the Messengers)
Ya Mustafa ya Shafi'al 'Alamina
(O Chosen One O intercessor of the worlds)
Ya Mustafa Ya Imamal Mursalina

Ya Mustafa ya Shafi'al 'Alamina
(O Chosen One O intercessor of the worlds)

Ramadhan, the 'barokah' month.

Ramadhan is a month in Islamic Hijriah Calendar (which is right now...). During this month, Muslims will be fasting for 29 @ 30 days, depends on the visibility of the moon. It is well known as the month of 'barokah', but what do we know about 'barokah'? Some people always ask for 'barokah' of their 'rezki', but they don't really know the true meaning of 'barokah'.

3 attributes of 'Barokah'

1) Az-ziyaadah (always increasing) : It is always increasing, you will not go low on supplies.

If you want the 'barokah' of your property, means your property will keep on increasing, the money will keep on growing . Of course, you don't even know the reason it grows and think that it's all because of what you've done, but haven't you heard of people who failed in business? Why did someone become so successful while others failed to gain such profit? .
'Barokah' of your children means they will keep on increasing in numbers, and kept on creating your next and next generation.
'Barokah' in you knowledge means the knowledge you have will keep on growing, it just wont stop at certain point. It also means that it will be passed to another person and to another person and to another person (just repeat as many times as you can).....

2) As-sa'adah & As-sakinah (happy & peaceful): It will make you happy and calm.
'Barokah' in your property means it will make you happy and calm. Some people have so much cash and yet he's not happy, he's very anxious, he cannot sleep at night, worried if somebody will steal his money, worried if somebody will catch him red-handed. Why is that? There's no 'barokah' in the money itself. Maybe he got it the wrong way (eg steal, fraud, corrupt etc.). Even when you have small amount of money, if there's 'barokah' in it, it'll make you smile.
'Barokah' in you children means they'll make you happy and peaceful. Some have many children, but bad children (eg everyone joins mafia etc.), would he be happy?
'Barokah' in the knowledge means the knowledge we have will make us happy and calm. Would you be happy if you have the knowledge which can be use to help you and the others? Or would you be rather be happy to have the knowledge for vandalism (then worried get caught by the police etc.)?

3) Abadiyyah (Last long @ forever): It will last very long.
'Barokah' in property means it will last very long. Have you seen the poor people but still can eat, tomorrow can also eat, the next day can also eat, using the small amount of money? Have you seen some one, bought something today, broken tomorrow @ stolen the next day, so he had to buy the same thing again? Have you found someone, today millionaire, tomorrow bankrupt?
'Barokah' children means they can pray for us when we've died, which is one of the 'most wanted item' when we've died.
'Barokah' in knowledge means it can stay in our memory forever. Have you forgotten what you've studied before? yeah, thing like that can make ypu understand more about 'barokah'.

'Happy Ramadhan'
